A new blog for a new era. What’s changed in poker over the last few years I hear you ask? Lots of things. For starters, you can’t get a proper game anywhere. Pretty hard to play a cash game or tournament and do social distancing at the same time.
But it’s not just real world poker that’s changed, the online landscape seems pretty different too:
The UK has gone nuts with regulation dishing out fines and rules left right and center, meaning that a lot of brands have left the market.
The USA is finally coming around to the idea of online poker, roughly a decade after the UIEGA stopped things in their tracks.
Does anyone remember the days when yanks and brits would play side by side on cryptologic? Days when the term ‘crypto’ meant something very different to what it does now (for poker players at least).
